Dan Coen is a visionary and strategic leader with a proven track record in consumer brand development, operational transformation, and financial restructuring. Over his career, he has advised, helped acquire, and worked with some of the world’s most recognized retail and consumer businesses.
Dan spent two decades at AlixPartners LLP, where he rose from graduate hire to Partner & Managing Director. As a leader of the EMEA retail practice, he helped to grow the business from €5m to €100m annual fees, advising on landmark M&A transactions, complex restructurings, and operational transformations across Europe, the US, and Asia.
Latterly, he was President of PDS Limited, a global retail supply chain platform with revenues of $2bn and a market capitalization exceeding $1bn, where he was responsible for commercial strategy, markets, and business development. Dan led PDS’s growth strategy (“Triple 5”), targeting $5bn revenue and 5% PAT margin within five years, alongside driving M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships.
Dan also serves as Senior Advisor to a number of global PE and Hedge Funds, is an Ambassador for Retail Trust, and sits on the Retail Leadership Group of The King’s Trust.
He holds a Law degree (LLB, Cardiff University) and is a father to two teenage daughters.
